RANDRIDE E-Bike Speed Limit Adjustment Guide

This quick guide explains how to adjust the speed limit on recent RANDRIDE e-bike models.

⚠️ Important Note First:

This setting only affects the pure electric (throttle) mode. It does not change the behavior of pedal assist mode, where your speed is still determined by how fast you pedal.

Ensure any adjustment complies with local laws. Ride safely.

For Standard Single-Drive Models

1. Turn on the bike.

2. Hold the [+] and [-] buttons together to enter settings.

3. Navigate to parameter P08 using the power button.

4. Change its value to 100.

5. Hold [+] and [-] again to save and exit.

6. Power cycle the bike.

P08 = 20: Speed Limit ON (~25 km/h)

P08 = 100: Speed Limit OFF (~45 km/h)

For Dual-Drive Models

Parameter 16P controls the dual-drive current limiting mode:

00: Both motors can reach their individual current limits (higher performance)

01: Total current limiting for both motors (restricted mode)

Operation:

1. Short press the i button to enter parameter adjustment mode

2. Short press the +/- button to cycle through parameters

3. Short press the i button to save settings and return to the personalized parameter menu

Note: This setting only affects pure electric mode. Pedal assist mode speed depends solely on riding cadence.
